Princeton Approves New Stainless Steel Pool

The new complex is scheduled to be unveiled by Memorial Day 2012.

Princeton will install a new $6.37 million stainless steel pool at the Community Park Pool complex this fall, the Princeton Packet reports.

Princeton Borough Council and Township Committee approved the pool cost at a joint meeting last week.

The stainless steel Myrtha pool costs $1.5 million more than a concrete pool recommended by the Recreation Board, but muncipal officials became concerned when they realized that lifetime maintenance costs make the overall cost of the concrete pool more expensive.
