Police Blotter: Bicyclist Struck in Hit and Run Accident

Princeton Township police incidents from July 31 to Aug. 1.

Susan Danoff, 59, of Clover Lane in Princeton, was charged with failure to stop or yield at 12:01 p.m. July 31. Princeton Township police said a BMW driven by Danoff and a Toyota collided at the intersection of Snowden Lane and Rollingmead Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene as a result of damage from the crash, and Danoff was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a general complaint of pain.

Galicia Flor, 28, of Witherspoon Street in Princeton, was struck by a pickup truck at 8:26 p.m. July 31 while riding a bicycle north on Witherspoon Street. Police said the driver of the truck left the scene after stopping to check on Flor's condition and was last seen southbound on Witherspooon Street. Police said Flor was transported to a local hospital by Princeton Fire and Rescue Squad for a complaint of pain in her left leg. Police said the pickup truck had apparently disregarded the stop sign before hitting the cyclist. The truck was described as a dark blue or black pickup with a dark cap and a white door. Police said a resident of the first block of Overlook Drive reported at 11:48 p.m. Aug. 1 that sometime stole her diamond and sapphire ring from her home within the last two weeks. No forced entry was noted and no other items were reported missing, according to police.

Police said a Princeton Fire and Rescue Squad vehicle hit a bus carrying 14 passengers on North Harrison Street while responding to an incident on Herrontown Road at 4:15 p.m. Aug. 1. Damage was minor to both vehicles and both were able to be driven from the scene. The crash remains under investigation
