A long-time resident of Princeton, Fausta Rodriguez Wertz was born and raised in Puerto Rico.

After studying at the University of Puerto Rico where she served on the Business School Student Council, she graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Georgia, majoring in Marketing and Economics. She also holds an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Fausta has been a Board member of the Princeton Unit of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (now Learning Ally). In this capacity, she led the creation and marketing of a Walking Tour of Princeton audio cassette. Her volunteer activities also include support of Trinity Church, the Lewis School, the Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart and Princeton High School, from which her son Alan graduated in 2010.

Fausta is bilingual in English and Spanish and is a freelance translator and instructor. Additional professional activities include real estate and retail sales. She also has experience in group medical insurance as a senior examiner, auditor and underwriter.

She hosts a popular Internet presence, Fausta’s Blog, in which she reports and analyzes key political and cultural issues affecting the U.S. and Latin America.

Fausta has been a featured blogger on the Real Clear World Blog, Star Ledger N.J. Voices, LadyBlog, and Forbes Business and Finance. Her ability to articulate important and complex issues in a manner readily comprehensible to the general public has resulted in her appearance as a panelist on BlogHer 08 and BlogHer 09 and on PJTV, Fox News Strategy Room and CNN Live’s Blogger Bunch.
