It's that time again and for those seeking Thin Mints, etc., here's where you can find the cookies locally.
It's Girl Scout cookies season again. Eight varieties of cookies are available: include Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Do-Di-dos, Trefoils, Savannah Smiles, Dulce de Leche and Thank U Berry Munch. Each box costs $4. The sale of Girl Scout cookies gives girls a chance to fundraise to achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves, as well as help other community organizations and the military. So where can you get your cookie fix in and around Princeton? We put out a call on Facebook and here's are some local Girls Scouts you can buy from. While I certainly appreciate the goal of teaching girls how to run a business, it's ridiculous to do so by selling nutritionally deficit, sugar-loaded and carb-loaded junk food. I think we should be boycotting these sales instead of supporting and publicly endorsing and promoting them.
