@Simon. I'm with you that the School Board spends too much. But there's always something else thatRead More isn't covered by the School Board, like summer and weekend camps. If you've got plenty of money, your kids can take their pick of boutique artsy camps etc. Regular kids have two choices: the Y, or the street.

@sfb: After Princeton, Mercer County, and the Princeton School Board have picked my pockets eachRead More quarter, I have nothing left over for anything or anyone. Yes, I know, it's time to leave. If I only could.

@Simon, I'm probably going to sound like I work for the Princeton Y (I don't) but you should knowRead More that they have a 'pay what you can' policy. If somebody can't afford the regular rate, they will cut you a deal based on whether/whatever you can afford to pay. Their aim is to make the facilities available to everyone at a fair rate. You won't find that policy at any other gym. Other places will crush your credit score if you can't keep up the high monthly payments.

No sports fans here! Princeton plays Yale in what is likely to be the game that clinches the IvyRead More title for Princeton. 1:00pm Saturday. Traffic likely to be heavily snarled by huge crowd expected. Stay away from Nassau and Alexander and Washington or you will be sorry.
