Princeton Patch Weekend Guide

Looking for things to do in and around Princeton this weekend? Here's our guide to what's going on.

Friday

The Mercer County Park Commission will lead a Pontoon Boat Nature Tour on Lake Mercer in West Windsor. Join experienced naturalist and marina staff members to discover the wild side of the park. 1-2:30 p.m.  

Ray Rodriguez y Swing Sabrossa performs a free concert on the green in Palmer Square, 5-7 p.m. 

Princeton Public Library presents the film, "Les Miserables. Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe star in this 2012 adaptation of the musical play based on Victor Hugo’s French historical novel. Community Room, 6:30-9 p.m. 


Saturday

Montgomery Friends of Open Space hosts its weekly farmers' market, featuring local produce, poultry, eggs, beef, flowers, herbs, pies, coffee, honey and more. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Mercer County Park Commission will host a Kayak Tour on Lake Mercer, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. 

West Windsor hosts its weekly Community Farmers' Market, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The Richard Reiter Swing Band performs a free concert on the green in Palmer Square, 2-4 p.m. 

Acoustic Road will play a free concert in Hinds Plaza. The classic acoustic rock duo features guitarist and vocalist  Matt Robinson and keyboardist and vocalist Jeff Friedman. 4-6 p.m. 


Sunday

Nassau Brass performs a free concert on the green in Palmer Square, 1-3 p.m. 

A Jazz and Peaches Fest at Plainsboro Presbyterian Church will feature a free concert on the lawn by the DarlaRich Quarter and peach desserts for sale (proceeds benefit Homefront). Bring lawn chairs or blankets- event will move inside in case of rain. 5 p.m.
