Westerly Learning Center Open House at 25 Westerly Road, Princeton, 1 p.m.

Have you been thinking about homeschooling your child but don’t know where to begin? Westerly Learning Center has been offering academic support programs for homeschooled students since 1984. We will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 1 pm at 25 Westerly Road, Princeton. Come meet the teachers and students and learn how WLC can help you. 100th Anniversary Celebration, Princeton Kingston Nurseries Site, Mapleton Preserve/D&R Canal State Park, 145 Mapleton Road, Kingston NJ 08528, 1 p.m.

In the Spring 1978 issue of the Princeton Recollector William Flemer, Jr. wrote: “The first farm of some sixty acres was purchased from the Myrick family, at a cost of $9,000, in September 1913.”  So began what was to become Princeton Nurseries.

Join the Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands (FPNL) for the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Princeton Nurseries Kingston Site. 

This event features Princeton Nurseries displays, historic vehicles, celebratory speeches, and live music by The Bare Root Band (William Flemer IV and friends). 

Refreshments and birthday cake will be served. free, and
all are welcome!
