The Week Ahead in Princeton


Here's a highlight of what's going on in and this Princeton this week. 

1. Cooler temperatures will prevail this week. Highs will generally be in the 80s during the week, with changes of showers and/or thunderstorms each day. Click here for the 7-day weather forecast

2. Enjoy a delicious seven-course meal, paired with wine, and support a good cause at the same time. The second annual "Sustainable Fare for Sustainable Jersey" Farm to Table Fundraiser will take place at Terhune Orchards on Thursday at Terhune Orchards, $150.5-9 p.m. Register here

3. Does your child ever wonder what mischief their stuffed animals get into overnight? Find out on Wednesday at the Princeton Public Library when children ages 3 and up are invited to bring their animals to a  Stuffed Animal Sleepover for a special evening story time. Then leave your animals overnight at the library. Animals, along with photographs showing what kind of fun they had and mischief they made, can be picked up the next morning. 

4. Interested in the future of the AvalonBay development? Thursday night will be the project's final special meeting before the planning board and it's possible a final decision will be made. 7:30 p.m. at 400 Witherspoon Street.

5. Enjoy a summer evening concert with Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns on Friday as part of Mercer County's Summer Concert Series. At Mercer County Park in West Windsor, 6 p.m. at Lake Mercer. Beer, wine and food will be available.
