Gary Walters will leave at the end of June.

Princeton University has assembled a 12-person committee charged with finding a replacement for outgoing Athletic Director Gary D. Walters, according to a post on goprincetontigers.com.

Walters announced his retirement effective the end of June, 2014, according to the post.

According to the post, the committee will consist of two faculty members, two coaches, two student athletes, two administrators and three alumni. The committee will host open forums with students, faculty, staff and alumni.

It will also hold sourcing interviews with members of campus community and representatives from college athletics and higher education throughout the country, according to the report. There will also be regular meetings held until a replacement is named in the spring.

Dates and times of the meetings will be posted on a website created by the University for this specific issue. Those interested in the search can also have their thoughts and opinions heard via the wesbsite, http://www.princeton.edu/athleticdirectorsearch/.
