Princeton Softball Playoff Game Thursday Night

Princeton's Business Softball League seeks additional teams for next year.

 

Princeton's Fire Department and Police Department softball team will face off in the third and final game of its three-game playoff series tonight, Thursday, against Church & Dwight in Princeton's Business Softball League. 

The game begins at 6 p.m. at Hilltop Park off Bunn Drive in Princeton Township. The winning team will move on to the championship series against Harrison Hardwoods.

"Hopefully we're going to win" said Princeton Township Police Officer and second baseman Christopher Best. The fire and police team won the champshionship last year and placed second in this year's regular season.

Want to join in on the fun? The Princeton-area adult co-ed league seeks more teams to join the for next year. The teams play two, seven-inning games each Tuesday from early June to mid-August.

"It's not necessarily a competitive league, we just go out there to have fun, no one takes it too seriously, it's a relaxed atmosphere," Best said.
