Princeton University Open, Except For Non-Essential Staff; Rider Closed

Because of severe weather, Princeton University is closed for non-essential personnel as of 5 a.m. today. Classes will be held as scheduled.

Only employees in critical or essential roles should report to work. Those driving to campus are asked to park in either the North or West garages. TigerTransit buses are running on a limited schedule.

University libraries will be open, as will the Frist Campus Center and residential dining halls.

Most athletic facilities, including campus recreation facilities, will be open.

University officials will continue to monitor the storm with the expectation of reopening Friday. An update is scheduled to be posted on the University homepage and on the SNOW line, (609)-258-SNOW, and sent via the Princeton Telephone and E-Mail Notification System (PTENS) by 9 p.m. Thursday.
