Sue Nemeth and Bernie Miller Say Thank You

The two candidates reelected to Township Committee thank voters of Princeton Township.

 

To the Editor:

We wish to say “Thank You!” to the voters of Princeton Township for re-electing us to serve on Township Committee. Consolidation was a cornerstone of our campaign, and the overwhelming vote in the Township and in the Borough to UNITE PRINCETON was an expression of confidence in us and in the future of our Princeton community.

We congratulate the Republican candidates, Mark Scheibner and Geoff Aton, on their hard fought campaign that was conducted on the issues. Although they were not successful in achieving elective office, there are many other ways to serve Princeton as volunteers and we hope that they will find ways to use their skills and energies on behalf of our community.

Though we campaigned as Democrats and we both firmly believe in the core values of the Democratic Party, we were elected to serve the people of Princeton Township - Democrats, Republicans and Independents. We stand ready to hear all sides on any issue of

importance to the citizens of our community that comes before Township Committee.

In the coming year there is much to be done before consolidation becomes effective on the first of January 2013. You can be certain that during 2012 we will work hard on behalf of Princeton Township and do everything in our power to assure the successful launch of the newly united Princeton.
