Son of Former Borough Mayor Arrested for Drug Possession and Assault

Paul Sigmund IV was arrested in Trenton on Monday.

The son of former Princeton Borough Mayor was arrested Monday  in Trenton and charged with heroin possession and assaulting two police officers, according to The New York Times

Paul Sigmund IV, 46, deputy mayor and chief of staff to Trenton Mayor Tony Mack, is the son of the late mayor, Barbara Boggs Sigmund and nephew of journalist Cokie Roberts. 

Mack's office has confirmed that Sigmund has been placed on unpaid leave from his position.
