Public Works Savings Likely from Consolidation

The consultant hired to review a merger of the borough and township says savings could amount to nearly half a million dollars.

According to a report in The Princeton Packet on Monday, two public works positions could be eliminated if the Department of Public Works were merged.

Public works would have a reduction of two positions, should consolidation or shared services be approved by voters this November.
