Borough Council Honors Kenwood
Council asked for a moment of silence on Tuesday to remember EMT Michael Kenwood.
Princeton Borough Council on Tuesday thanked emergency personnel who serve Princeton, notably EMT Michael Kenwood, who died following an attempted rescue during Hurricane Irene.
“Nine days ago (Kenwood) entered the raging Stony Brook waters to try to determine if someone was in a vehicle that had been abandoned," council member Kevin Wilkes said.
The car was empty, but Kenwood died trying to reach it.

For his service and those of countless others, Wilkes asked for a moment of silence at the beginning of Tuesday's meeting.
“We are deeply indebted to our emergency service personnel,” Wilkes said. “It is with great sacrifice that they work for us and we deeply appreciate the things that they do.
