Woman Issued Ticket for DWI Following Accident on Quaker Road

The 26-year-old driver was also treated for injuries at the hospital.

 

A 26-year-old Mercerville woman was issued multiple tickets and transported to the hospital for treatment on March 15 after the vehicle she was driving struck a utility polie in the 300 block of Quaker Road. 

The incident happened at 12:48 a.m. A Princeton Township Police investigation determined the driver had been consuming alcohol.

Camilla L. Thomas, of Trenton Avenue, was issued motor vehicle tickets for Driving While Intoxicated, DWI within 1,000 ft. of a school, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt. 

Thomas was taken to University Medica lCenter at Princeton by the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad for treatment of cuts and bruises to the hand, face and head.
