Woman Allegedly Brandished Knife, Threatened to Kill Man

The incident happened Friday night on John Street, near the intersection of Clay Street.

 

A 19-year-old Trenton woman was arrested on Friday, Nov. 9 after she brandished a knife at a man on John Street and threatened to kill him. 

Dyasia Harrell of Carroll Street in Trenton was charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to Princeton Borough Police.

The incident happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday, near the intersection of Clay Street.

Both Princeton Borough and Princeton Township police responded and found Harrell had brandished a knife towards a male victim and threatened to kill him. At some point, police said, Harrell and the victim fought over the knife and both suffered cuts to their hands. The victim, whose name is not being released, refused medical treatment. Harrell was treated at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Police say Harrell and the victim knew each other. 

Harrell was released on $10,000 bail. She is due in court on Nov. 19.
