University Place Reopens Wednesday

Due to work that will continue on the east side of the roadway, the pedestrian and bike crosswalk between the former north station building and McCarter/Berlind Theatres will remain closed until mid-August.

University Place, closed to traffic from College Road to Alexander Street, will reopen on Wednesday, Princeton Police announced Tuesday night.

Due to work that will continue on the east side of the roadway, the pedestrian and bike crosswalk between the former north station building and McCarter/Berlind Theatres will remain closed until mid-August.

The temporary traffic signal at the intersection of College Road and Alexander Street will be in "flash" mode July 9 and 10; it will then be removed.

The TigerTransit and TigerPaWW bus stop will remain at College Road, across from the entrance to McCarter Theatre Center. Bus schedules will not change.

Residents are asked to follow posted signs when walking, biking and/or driving through the area. Updated maps showing vehicular, pedestrian, and bike detours are available on the Arts and Transit Project website.
