Recalling A Tragic Princeton Story From March

Normally, we do a post that recognizes the top stories of the month.

Unfortunately, Princeton's most widely read post was the tragic story about a man who died after jumping from a roof of Spring Street Garage In Princeton.

We will take this moment to note that anyone with information is urged to contact the PPD Detective Bureau at 609.921.2100.

On March 5, At approximately 5:30 a.m., a Princeton patrol officer located an unresponsive man on the ground on Spring Street in the area of the Spring Street garage and S. Tulane Street.

Initial lifesaving measures were taken by patrols and additional medical resources were summoned to the scene. Continued efforts to revive the individual were unsuccessful and death was pronounced at the scene by medical personnel.

The initial investigation indicated the individual had intentionally jumped from the top level of the parking garage to the ground below and did not survive the fall.

Initial indications were also that foul play was not involved. The matter remains under investigation by PPD Detectives. Anyone with information is urged to contact the PPD Detective Bureau at 609.921.2100.
