Rabid Raccoon Found Near Pretty Brook Road

A raccoon that was found on June 4 near the area of Pretty Brook Rd. was tested for and found to have rabies.

A raccoon that was found on June 4 near the area of Pretty Brook Rd. was tested for and found to have rabies.

Anyone that came in contact or handled a raccoon in the area of Pretty Brook Rd. should contact the Princeton Police Department as soon as possible.

A resident transported the raccoon to the Mercer County Wildlife Center where it later died.

Residents are reminded not to handle any wildlife under any circumstances. If anyone sees any wildlife that appears to be sick or out of place, contact the Princeton Police Department at (609) 921-2100.
