Princeton Woman Issued Summons in Cherry Valley Road Accident

Police say the driver lost control of her vehicle while driving on wet pavement around a sharp curve.

A 26-year-old Lawrenceville woman was taken by ambulance to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro with an ankle injury, cuts and bruises on Thursday evening after her vehicle was struck head-on by another car that lost control on a curve along Cherry Valley Road, according to Montgomery Township Police.

The accident happened at 6:12 p.m. near the intersection of Heather Lane just across the Princeton/Montgomery border.

Jordan Collins, 19, of Princeton was driving a 1998 BMW west on Cherry Valley Road when she lost control of her vehicle on wet pavement at the Raymond Curve, crossed over the double yellow lines and sideswiped a 2006 Lexus traveling east driven by Kuang Chuan Cheng, 52, of Belle Mead, according to police.
