Princeton Woman Claims To Be $2,700 Fraud Victim Of Craigslist

Princeton police are investigating a claim made Tuesday that a local woman was the victim of a $2,700 fraud committed by a Craigslist piano seller.

The caller reported to police that she was the victim of a fraud that had occurred through Craigslist. The victim stated that she had transferred money to another person under the guise that she was purchasing a piano, and later discovered that the seller had falsified the ad for the piano.

The total amount of the loss was $2700.00.
