Princeton Woman Charged With Theft After Kidnapping Puppy From SAVE

Victoria Winogora was charged with theft after stealing a puppy from SAVE.

A Princeton woman was charged with theft after she and two others kidnapped a puppy worth over $300 from SAVE animal rescue over the weekend, Princeton Police announced on Monday.

Victoria Winogora, 22, of Princeton, was charged with theft after surrendering to police on July 13 at 8:47 a.m.

Winogora was one of three females who left SAVE on July 12 with a female puppy hound mix named Jessie valued at $325.

A staff member reported the females walked the dog on leash, then after placing her in a silver colored Volkswagon, drove away with the dog.

Winogora was processed and served with a summons charging her with theft and released. 

The dog was returned to SAVE.
