Princeton Police Report

Princeton Police release their weekly activity report.

Arrests:

* Darrell Williams, 23, and Fiona Wedderburn, 21, both of Belleville, were each apprehended on July 4 at Washington Road following a traffic stop. The stop occurred at 9:53 p.m., at which time police discovered Washington was wanted on a $335 municipal court warrant, and Wedderburn was wanted on an $89 municipal court warrant, both out of Emerson. They were released on their own recognizance with a new court date.

* Nadine Vernon, 59, of West Trenton, was apprehended on July 5 at Nassau Street at Charlton Street following a traffic stop. The stop occurred at 8:21 a.m., at which time police discovered Vernon was wanted on a $175 municipal court warrant out of Lawrence Township. She was released after posting bail.

* Charley Faulkenburg, 25, of Monroe Township, was apprehended following a traffic stop at Nassau Street at Witherspoon Street on July 6. The stop occurred at 11:27 a.m., at which time police discovered that Faulkenburg was wanted on an $81 municipal court warrant out of Hillsborough. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

* Genna Torres, 30, of Mount Laurel, was apprehended following a traffic stop at Mercer Street at Quaker Road on July 7. The stop occurred at 7:43 a.m., at which time police discovered Torres was wanted on a $2,500 municipal court warrant out of Trenton. She was turned over to Trenton Police Department.

* An adult male and a juvenile female were apprehended after police responded to a report of individuals smoking marijuana on Karl Light Boulevard on July 9. At 7:52 p.m., police arrested and charged Tyler Black, 20, of Princeton, with possession of drug paraphernalia (rolling papers). The 16-year-old female was charged with possession of marijuana. Black was released on a summons and the female was released to her parents.

* Junaid Rana, 20, of Lawrenceville, was apprehended following a traffic stop on Witherspoon Street at Green Street on July 9. The stop occurred at 1:11 p.m., at which time police discovered Rana was wanted on a $500 municipal court warrant out of Wayne Township. She was released after posting bail.

* Amarjit Singh, 25, of Elizabeth, was apprehended following a traffic stop on Washington Road and Ivy Lane on July 9. The stop occurred at 10:45 a.m., at which time police discovered Singh was wanted on a $150 municipal court warrant out of Elizabeth. Singh was released after posting bail.

Burglaries:

* A victim reported that sometime between 8 p.m. on July 5 and 10 a.m. on July 6, unknown actor(s) slashed and flattened the two front tires of his car while it was parked in Spruce Circle’s parking lot. No other cars were reported damaged in the area.

* A victim reported waking up and seeing an unknown male in his bedroom, who apologized and immediately walked out.  A check of the house revealed the victim’s wedding band valued at $300 was stolen from the living room fireplace mantel.

Harassment:

* A victim reported that a black male approached her after she exited an NJ Transit Bus and began swinging his bag at her. Some on-lookers intervened and the male walked away north on Witherspoon Street. The victim was uninjured.  Police searched the area but was unable to find the suspect, who was described as being in his late 40's, 5'4" with facial hair and wearing a gray T-shirt, gray shorts, baseball hat, and carrying a white shopping bag.
