Princeton Police Report

Princeton Police release their weekly activity report.

Arrests:

* Tyra Grayson, 27, of Ewing, was apprehended on several outstanding municipal court warrants out of Lawrence Township, Trenton and Ewing Township following a motor vehicle stop on State Road at Valley Road on July 11 at 12:25 p.m. The total of the warrants was $1,092. Grayson was turned over to Lawrence Township Police after being unable to post bail.

* Daniel Johnson, 61, of Ewing, was apprehended on a $1,500 municipal court warrant out of Maple Shade following a motor vehicle stop on Bayard Lane at Mountain Avenue on July 11 at 11:03 a.m. Johnson was processed and released on his own recognizance.

* Michelle Lee Huff, 46, of Hillsborough, was apprehended on a $303 municipal court warrant out of Howell Township following a motor vehicle stop on Bayard Lane at Boudinot Street on July 12 at 9:22 p.m. Lee was processed and released on her own recognizance.

* Alex Gianfresco, 18, of Princeton, was charged with shoplifting a box of condoms from Rite Aid on North Harrison Street on July 13 at 2:05 p.m. A store associate witnessed Gianfresco placing the condoms in his pants pocket and called police. He was processed and released on a summons.

Fraud:

* An unidentified victim reported that between April and July, unknown actor(s) made multiple unauthorized charges on her Visa debit card totaling $836.

Theft by Deception:

* An unidentified victim reported receiving a phone call from a male claiming to be a PSE&G debt collector, who advised the victim to pay his $800 debt within an hour or risk having his power shut off.  The victim was instructed to place the $800 on a MoneyPak prepaid card, then forward the card’s account number to the caller. The victim complied, but later called police after realizing he was scammed.
