Princeton Man Charged With Stealing $470 in Business Signs

A Princeton man has been charged with theft after police determined he's stolen 21 business lawn signs totaling $470.82 in value over the last year.

John Mulvey, 67, was charged Monday afternoon after an investigation into the thefts, which all took place at various times between June, 2013 and July, 2014, in the area of Rosedale Road near Elm Road.

Mulvey was in possession of all the signs, all of which were recovered undamaged and returned to the victim, police announced Monday evening.

Mulvey was processed at police headquarters and released on a summons. A court date is pending.
