Princeton Man Charged With Careless Driving

Police said car struck from behind at stop sign.

Joaquin Monge, 39, of Varsity Place, Princeton, was charged with careless driving after police said his car struck another from behind at a stop sign at Mercer and Quaker Roads on Sunday.

Township police said at 9:51 a.m. a Mercedes driven by Michael Fazio, 47, of Huntington Valley, Penn,, was stopped at a sign on Quaker Road at Mercer Road when it was struck from behind by Monge's Dodge.

Police said Fazio and a passenger complained of neck and back pain. The passenger was taken by the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad to the University Medical Center at Princeton and Fazio declined treatment for his injuries, police said.
