Police encourage parents and caregivers to use and to speak with their children about safety precautions.

Princeton Public Schools Superintendent Judy Wilson told Patch on Wednesday said that she has been in contact with police about the alleged incident.

"In cases where we are provided with any credible level of concern, we have mechanisms to have counselors, teachers and principals available to say 'Remember there are really good practices about not speaking to strangers, not to get into cars with strangers and to talk to parents about any issues.'

"In a case that might be more elevated, in which we know there might have been physical interaction with a child or anything suspicious that we have enough factual information about, we make sure we review the rules," Wilson continued. "We have to judge each case as to which level of response it gets. In this case, we are waiting for further information from Township Police and they will communicate with us if there's any reason for heightened alarm or concern."

Township Police encourage anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 609-921-2100.
