Police Blotter: Man Allegedly Stuffed Liquor Bottle in His Pants

Police said the New Brunswick man also had cocaine and paraphernalia used to ingest cocaine and a warrant for failure to pay child support.

 

A New Brunswick man was charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia and contempt of court after he allegedly tried to hide of bottle of alcohol in his pants. 

On Sept. 3 at 1:55 p.m., Princeton Borough Police responded to Nassau Liquor Grape & Grain for a report of shoplifting in progress. Officers found a store employee had detained Cirilo Santos, 39, of New Brunswick after he allegedly concealed a bottle of alcohol in his pants.

Police also found that Santos had cocaine and paraphernalia used to ingest cocaine, as well as an active warrant from Middlesex County for failing to pay child support. 

He was committed to Mercer County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bail.
