Police Blotter: $7,800 in Silverware Reported Stolen

Princeton Township police reported the following activity from July 6-8.

 

At 3:35 p.m. on July 6, the manager of the Andrews/Foulet Homeowners Association reported to Princeton Township police that someone removed three pieces of vinyl fence from Foulet Drive and Cherry Hill Road between June 18 and June 28. Police said the cost to replace the fence was unknown.

Police said at 3:12 p.m. on July 8 a resident of Van Dyke Road reported that someone had removed approximately $7,800 worth of silverware and flatware from her home between Thanksgiving of 2011 and July 7. No suspects were immediately identified. An investigation continues.

Township police responded to 65 calls for service over 6½ hours on July 7 after a brief storm. The calls ranged from alarm activations to transformer fires. Road closures were necessary in some areas, and power outages were widespread throughout the east side of the township. As of Monday morning, all roads had been cleared and were reopened, and there were no reports of continued power outages.
