Mother Reports Possible House Fire With Son Locked Inside

It turned out to be food burning on the stove. No one was injured.

Princeton firefighters responded to a home on Sunday night after a mother reported that her son was locked inside and the house on fire, according to a report on NJ.com

The fire turned out to be food cooking on the stove that caught fire, according to the report. Firefighters found smoke in the house, but no damage and no one was injured. 

The mother told firefighters that she forgot to turn off the stove when she left the house briefly, according to NJ.com. When she returned, she found she had locked herself out with her son inside.
