Lawrence Woman Eludes Police, Faces Multiple Criminal Charges

The incident happened on Jan. 6

 

A Lawrence woman was arrested Friday, Jan 6 and charged with eluding police, obstructing the administration of law, disorderly conduct and multiple motor vehicle violations.

Borough Police stopped Allison Daniels, 32, of Sycamore Court, Lawrence on Route 206 near Ferrand Road shortly after 10 a.m. for operating a vehicle with an expired registration.

According to police, Daniels refused to produce any documentation and later exited her vehicle and charged the officer’s car while screaming obscenities at him. When the officer got out of his car, Daniels drove south on Route 206 towards Lawrence and refused to stop.

Borough and Lawrence Police went to Daniels home, where she was arrested and found to be in possession of a marijuana pipe.

Lawrence Township police, meanwhile, said they charged Daniels with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daniels' court date was scheduled for court on Jan. 9.
