George Drive Home Destroyed in Fire

A George Drive home was destroyed by a fire, Saturday.

A fire destroyed a house on George Drive on Saturday afternoon, Princeton Police is reporting.

The house was unoccupied at the time, and 911 calls came from multiple homes in the surrounding neighborhood. Princeton Fire, PFARS, and patrols arrived on the scene and the home was declared uninhabitable after the fire had been extinguished.

The blaze destroyed the entire back half of the house, according to Sergeant Michael Cifelli, and also caused non-structural damage to the house next door. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
