Bicyclist Struck and Injured by Car

Accident occurred at Faculty Road and Alexander Street.

Township police and the Princeton First Aid Squad were called to the intersection of Alexander Street and Faculty Road at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, to investigate a report that a car had struck a bicyclist.

The bicyclist, Quinn D. Gibson, 22, of Hibben Apartments, Princeton, was knocked to the ground and injured, police said.

Police said Gibson had been riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the road on Alexander Street as he approached Faculty Road.

Police said Gibson continued straight through the intersection of Faculty Road and was struck by a 2005 Pontiac GTO driven by William J. Radogna Jr., 54, of Cleveland Lane.

Radogna was making a right turn from Faculty Road onto Alexander Road when he struck Gibson, police said.

Gibson was treated at a local hospital for a contusion and left shin abrasion.
