Bicyclist Injured in Collision with SUV

The accident happened on Saturday, March 10 on Rosedale Road.

 

A 51-year-old Montgomery Township resident was treated at the University Medical Center of Princeton on Saturday afternoon, March 10, after the bicyclee hwas riding collided with a vehicle along Rosedale Road. 

Princeton Township Police responded to Rosedale Road near Greenway Meadows Park at 3:25 p.m. They found the bicylist, Ching C. Chen, 51, of Truman Avenue, Montgomery, lying in the middle of the road. The Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad transported Chen to the hospital for treatment of minor facial scrapes and pain to the face, both arms and left lower leg.

The vehicle was driven by Richard L. Schild of Dogwood Hill, in Princeton

An investigation showed that as Schild attempted to pass the bicycle, Chen collided with the right side of the vehicle.
