Unique Funding Opportunity for Transportation Projects in Princeton

Do you or your organization have a vision of ways to improve transit services to the Princeton community that is ready for action? This may be your opportunity!

The municipality of Princeton and Princeton University have established a $500,000 mass transit trust fund that can be used to conduct studies, to plan, and to implement transit improvements to meet the needs of the Princeton community. Funding for the Trust was provided by Princeton University.

We are soliciting sponsors to submit proposals for projects of any scope that meet these objectives. Full information on this request for proposals can be found on the municipal website at Princeton.nj.gov. The deadline for submission is February 28. Proposals selected by the fund’s Trustees will be invited to expand their submissions into funding plans for final Trustee evaluation and potential funding.

We, the Trustees of the fund, are excited by the unique and rare opportunity this money presents to enhance transit in our community. We encourage proposals from all that can help us take advantage of the opportunity.

Sincerely,

The Trustees of the Mass Transit Trust Fund
