Birding Basics Course Offered by Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Due to the popularity of this series, we are again offering our Birding Basics classes to introduce new birders to the fundamental of birding and birdwatching. We will visit three of the top birding destinations in our area and focus on techniques necessary to recognize common species along with their habits and behaviors. The first session will be an indoor presentation, followed by two outdoor workshops. This series is an opportunity to visit nearby birding hotspots with experienced local birders, enjoy up-close encounters with birds and develop your birding skills.

Sessions:

Wed, June 18 from 7 – 9 PM      Indoor Workshop at Stony Brook Watershed Association
