Ida Procaccini, 92, Longtime Princeton Resident

Ida Procaccini, 92, of Princeton died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Pettoranello Di Molise, Italy, Ida immigrated to the United States in 1953, residing in Hightstown before moving to Princeton in 1961. She was employed for over 17 years with the Hightstown Rug Company. She was a member of St. Paul's Church and Roma Eterna. Ida enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.

Daughter of the late Michele and Filomena Carolina (Toto) Federico; wife of the late Federico Procacinni, to whom she was married 65 years, and sister of the late Antonio Federico and E. Rosalinda Perna, Ida is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sandy and Maria Procaccini; a sister, Lucia Rossi; three grandchildren, Fred and Maria Procaccini, Carlo and Kimberly Procaccini, and Lisa Procaccini and her fiance, Robert Joyce; three great-grandchildren, Renee, Lily, and Libby, three step-grandchildren, Robert, Joseph, and Guiliana Joyce, and several nieces and nephews.
