Hurricane, Nor'easter, Two Earthquakes: What's Happening in NJ Folks?

Area resident Judy Shepps Battle responds to the news that a 2.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Clementon, NJ just after midnight (early Black Friday morning)

The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed that a 2.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Clementon, NJ just after midnight. That's the 2nd earthquake to hit NJ this month.

That makes a hurricane, nor'easter, and earthquake in the same short time period.

Can anyone hear the sound of the Mayan ghosts saying "I told you so?" or is it the earth gods and goddesses in charge of environment saying the same thing?

There is an old story of how Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Perhaps we can update this to say that the NJ earth quaked while its citizens fought for Black Friday bargains.

Anyone else feel this latest environmental news as totally sobering?

I sure do here in 56-degree-today and 43-degree-tomorrow Central NJ USA the day after Turkey Day.
