Blog: Faith in democracy restored in Princeton

Thank you to the Princeton Regional Planning Board for expressing the true values of our small town.

With a majority of the Princeton regional planninng board voting to DENY the rediculous monolith proposed by AvalonBay, (AVB on NYSE) faith in the process that decides the fate of neighborhoods in this town has been restored. Kudos to our volunteer Planning Board representatives who listened to their fellow citizens and acted in a manner that is consistent with the core values of both towns. This was the perfect issue for our two towns to segue into one stronger united Princeton.

Thank you for believing that the letter of an ordinance is NOT blanket permission for an abusive developer to change the core of a small town for their own financial gain.

This will be a very merry Christmas on Henry Avenue!
