Trash Artstravaganza

Princeton University will host a Trash Art Contest open to the public as part of Community and Staff Day at the Jadwin Gymnasium on October 12, 2013. More information on this contest and guidelines can be found at http://www.princeton.edu/community/happenings/special/trash-art-contest/

The third annual Trash Artstravaganza is
open to anyone and everyone to enter. There will be lots of great prizes to win
including one best in show grand prize award of $1,000 to be donated to the (501c3)
sustainability organization of the winner’s choice.

There
are 9 categories for entrants to choose from: 2-D art, 3-D art, writing or poetry, video or animation, fashion or accessories, songs, architectural models, theatrical or dance presentations, multi-media or mixed media. The
rules are easy: just create a piece of artwork with a sustainability theme –
bonus points for using repurposed materials (i.e. trash), RSVP by October 9,
2013, come to Community and Staff Day with your artwork, win a prize and take
