World Change Starts with Educated Children

Alex and Ani, a jewelry store, will host a benefit for Room to Read, a group that provides libraries and girls' scholarships in 11 countries in SE Asia and Africa.  Alex and Ani will donate 15% of proceeds to Room to Read.  Light refreshments will be provided. Since 2000, the organization has helped millions of children learn to read, opened 15,000 libraries with help from the local community, and provided scholarships for 20,000 girls.  Many families in these communities live on $1 or $2 per day.  By establishing local language publishing in 23 languages, Room to Read improves global literacy.  Come find out how you, your family, your neighbors could help.  The Central NJ chapter welcomes your help.
