PATRIOTS WEEK - YOUNG PATRIOTS PANEL ON BATTLEFIELD PROJECTS

This
panel will explore opportunities for young people to participate in projects
and learning related to the American Revolution.  The panelists are: Alex
Monseau and his Dad, Marc Monseau; Fiona Misiura and her Dad, Steve Misiura;
and Donna Eisenacher and
Alison Lepard. Alex created a podcast for the Princeton Battlefield while
working toward becoming an Eagle Scout, Fiona is working on an historic marker project
under the auspices of Girl Scout Troop 70342, and Donna Eisenacher and Alison Lepard are both Third
Grade Teachers at Johnson Park School in Princeton, and put major emphasis in their
curriculum on creatively bringing the American Revolution alive.  The moderator will be Kip Cherry, 1st
VP of the Princeton Battlefield Society. In addition, on display will be
artwork that was submitted in 2013 by children participating in the Princeton
Battlefield Society’s Young Patriot’s Program. 
The New Jersey State Museum is located in the State Capitol Complex, 205
West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08625. Metered parking can be found on the
street; parking is also available at the Lafayette Yard Hotel (formerly the Marriott
Hotel) a short distance away. Free. For
