Princeton Montessori School is a spirited, independent, coeducational day school that seeks to ignite the innate and lifelong joy of learning. It was established in 1968, following the principles of education developed from the research of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) the American Montessori Society (AMS), and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). Five cornerstone multiage programs are offered: Infant (6 weeks to 18 months), Toddler (18 months to 3 years), Primary (3 years through Kindergarten), Elementary (1st through 5th grade), Middle School (6th through 8th grade). There are enriching before and after school, and summer programs.
