Montgomery Friends of Open Space is proud to announce upcoming events at the Farmers’ Market: July 27-Peach Extravaganza featuring Tree-Licious Orchards and music by Gordon James. Montgomery Friends of Open Space has sponsored the farmers’ market for 11 years to highlight the breadth and depth of agriculture right in the area. The selection is tremendous: buy single ingredients or already prepared fruit pies, meat pot pies, burgers, bouquets of flowers, and more.

Gordon James is a seasoned performer, composer, vocalist, trumpeter and flugelhornist with four CDs out in the smooth jazz genre. He sings and plays a mix of smooth jazz, jazz standards, the Great American Songbook and R&B & Pop covers. Some of the artists he covers are Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr, Michael Buble', Louis Armstrong, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach, Ray Charles, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, James Taylor
