McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union Hosts Seminar to Help Safeguard Your Financial Future Through Consumer Protection

The Financial Literacy Series seminar “Reading the Fine Print: Safeguarding your Financial Future through Consumer Protection” is being held Wednesday, August 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union, 120 Windsor Center Drive, East Windsor, N.J.

The speaker, Constance Gustke, is a banking and investment expert who covers the topic for Bankrate.com as well as other financial media including CNBC.com, Fox Business, and Moneywatch.com. Her discussion topics include: 

  • The best options for investing your money and getting it back should your financial institution go bankrupt
  • Understanding your consumer rights and knowing when they are being violated
  • How to protect your personal data when shopping online

The August 28 seminar is presented without charge and includes an indoor BBQ dinner prior to the presentation, free parking, and sample financial literacy materials. Attendees also can enter to win a $50 Visa Gift Card. Students who attend will receive a $15 iTunes gift card.
