McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union Hosts Seminar to Help Members Plan a Financially Secure Future
The Financial Literacy Series seminar “Living Longer and Planning a Financially Secure Future” is being held Wednesday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union, 120 Windsor Center Drive, East Windsor, N.J.
The speaker, Dr. Barbara O’Neill, is a certified financial planner, and the author of Saving on a Shoestring and Investing on a Shoestring, and co-author of Money Talk: A Financial Guide for Women. Dr. O'Neill is a prolific writer and has written over 1,500 consumer newspaper articles and over 100 articles for academic journals, conference proceedings, and other professional publications. A monthly personal finance columnist at the New Jersey Herald, Dr. O'Neill was most recently featured in the Record and USA Today and Forbes. Her discussion topics include:
• Learn about the new “retirement landscape”
• Get ten timeless tips for planning your future
• Discover what you should do now to start saving – at 20, 30, 50
The October 30 seminar is presented without charge and includes a hot buffet dinner prior to the presentation, free parking, and sample financial literacy materials.
