Princeton Celebrates Consolidation

Princeton’s Transition Task Force and Consolidation Commission are inviting the town’s residents to celebrate the consolidation of Princeton Borough and Princeton Township on New Year’s Day.

Residents will get a chance to mingle with friends and neighbors, enjoy refreshments and participate in events, including free raffles for “best of Princeton” baskets.

They will also get the opportunity to meet their newly elected officials, tour the municipal building and ask questions about the new municipality.

Most importantly, residents will get a chance to thank and honor the scores of volunteers, as well as the administrators and employees, who helped make consolidation a reality.

The swearing in of Princeton's newly elected officials will follow the celebration at noon.
