Knowledge is Power! A Reality Check for Young Adults On Their Journey Toward Financial Independence

Empowering young consumers to make smart, educated decisions regarding their finances can put them on the fast-track to financial wellness. Barbara O’Neill, Author and Financial Educator, will discuss tips and tricks to get started on this path.


The Feb. 27 seminar is presented without charge and includes sandwiches, snacks, beverages, free parking, and sample financial literacy materials. Educators earn professional development credits toward 9.2 Financial Literacy Standards. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for Financial Jeopardy at 5 p.m. Questions will be derived from financial education content from past seminars and Glencoe’s Personal Business and Finance textbook.
