Italians in London (Concert of Baroque Music)

Italian music was all the rage in 18th century London!  Le Triomphe de l'amour performs 18th century Italian instrumental sonatas and Baroque opera arias.  Music by Corelli, Scarlatti, Veracini, Barsanti, Bononcini, and Ariosti.  Laura Heimes, soprano; John Burkhalter, recorders; Donna Fournier, viola da gamba; Janet Palumbo, harpsichord.  Illustrated pre-concert talk by John Burkhalter at 7:30 pm; concert at 8:00 pm.  Tickets available at the door.  (This concert was originally scheduled for Nov. 3.)
